In 2026, People's Police (CAND) academies and schools will be assigned 2,070 enrollment quotas (new recruitment) by the Ministry of Public Security from high school graduates and draft soldiers.
Of which, 1,870 targets for university-level training at People's Police academies and schools and 200 targets for cooperation in university-level training at non-core training institutions.
People's Police academies and schools enroll students according to 3 methods: Direct admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security; combined admission of international foreign language certificates with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test; combined admission of high school graduation exam results with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.
The benchmark scores of People's Police schools and academies in 2026 will be updated by Lao Dong Newspaper immediately after the Ministry of Public Security announces them.

As of the afternoon of August 11, more than 200 universities nationwide have announced the admission benchmark scores for 2026.
Leading in current benchmark scores is the University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, with a converted score from 22.8 to 30/30. In which, the Artificial Intelligence major takes a perfect score of 30/30.
Next are the Military Medical Academy and the Military Science Academy, both majors with benchmark scores of 29.76/30 points.
The Foreign Economics major of the advanced program of Foreign Trade University (FTU) also has a very high benchmark score, taking 29.7/30 points.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence also recorded very high scores, up to 29.54/30.
According to the enrollment plan, schools announce benchmark scores in the period from August 9 to before 5 pm on August 13.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, all admitted candidates (including directly admitted candidates) must confirm admission on the system (if they wish to study) before 5:00 PM on August 21.
Candidates who do not complete online admission confirmation procedures within the prescribed time are considered to have refused the opportunity to be admitted.
Based on the number of candidates confirming enrollment, the training institution organizes admissions for the next rounds (if any) and updates the list of admitted and enrolled candidates according to regulations.
