On the morning of August 2, the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the People's Committee of Da Nang City to organize the Opening of the International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair of the East-West Economic Corridor - Da Nang 2024.
The fair attracted nearly 300 booths of more than 150 businesses from localities along the East-West Economic Corridor and provinces and cities nationwide.
Products and goods introduced and displayed at the fair include electricity, electronics - telecommunications, technology equipment, household appliances, wooden furniture, interior decoration, handicrafts, and gifts.
There are also consumer products such as food, beverages, textiles, fashion, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, tourism services, logistics , education, health care...
The fair also has the participation of 9 diplomatic agencies in Vietnam and Da Nang to display and introduce products.
Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee said: "Da Nang is the end point of the East-West economic corridor - of particular importance in expanding trade with countries in the region. regionally and internationally with a fairly synchronous and modern infrastructure system."
According to Mr. Ho Ky Minh, in the context of the world and domestic economy, although improving but still facing great difficulties and challenges, Da Nang's socio-economy still remains stable and continues to development momentum, achieving certain results.
In particular, Da Nang pays special attention to solutions to support businesses, giving priority to the recovery of key economic sectors and fields. Some industries that recover quickly and have breakthrough growth are bright spots. positively contribute to the overall growth of the entire city's economy.
The International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair of the East-West Economic Corridor - Da Nang 2024 takes place from August 2 to August 7.
