    Bank interest rates today September 5th: Series of banks launch additional policies, pushing interest rates up. Summary of savings interest rates of more than 30 newest banks.

    VPBank recently announced a preferential interest rate program with attractive additions, a program for VPBank Prime members.

    Accordingly, from the Prime Day period in August 2026, members who meet the conditions will receive 2 eVouchers, including one code with an additional 1%/year and one code with an additional 1.6%/year compared to the VND deposit interest rate schedule for individual customers at the time of deposit. Incentives apply to eligible online savings on VPBank NEO.

    In September, Prime Day takes place from September 1-4, 2026. The following periods take place from October 1-6 and from April 1-4 in November and December 2026, for VPBank Prime members who meet the conditions at the time of the list closing. The number of eVoucher receipts is not limited; eligible customers in the month of review will automatically send eVouchers on VPBank NEO.

    Notably, the bank also applies an additional policy of up to 2.5%/year for deposits from 1 million VND to 300 million VND, term from 1-24 months. The program lasts from June 15, 2026 to the end of December 31, 2026.

    However, to enjoy this additional amount, customers must be on the list of eligible customers determined by VPBank. Customers have had deposit transactions at VPBank from January 1, 2020 to date, have not opened new deposits in the last 6 months and have no deposit balance at the time of list closing.

    The customer list is finalized in two installments in June and September 2026. Customers eligible for application will receive a promotion notification on the VPBank NEO application.

    With an additional rate of up to 2.5%/year, the actual deposit interest rate at VPBank can be up to 4.75%/year for terms of 1-5 months; 8.7%/year for terms of 6-13 months and 8.5%/year for terms of 15-24 months.
