On the afternoon of August 31, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province said that the Department had implemented the direction of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province on organizing to grasp the situation of enterprises and employees working during the National Day holiday of September 2, 2024.
Through the situation, in the province, there are 125 enterprises organizing for a total of 6,572 workers to produce on the occasion of National Day September 2 this year.
Of which, there are 5 enterprises in industrial parks with 1,375 workers.
Notably, Yakult Vietnam Co., Ltd. (food production located in VSIP I Industrial Park, Thuan An) organized for 600/1,400 workers to produce on September 2 and 3; Sonova VN Co., Ltd. (hearing aid production) organized for 216/1,200 workers to produce on September 2 and 3; VAS Tue Minh Steel Joint Stock Company (steel production, Dat Cuoc Industrial Park, Bac Tan Uyen) organized for 780/830 workers to produce on the occasion of the holiday.
According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong, there are 120 enterprises located outside industrial parks organizing production during the holiday. The total number of workers outside industrial parks working during the holiday is 5,197 people.

According to records, Binh Duong province has about 1.2 million workers. Most of the workers working in factories will have a 3-day holiday from September 1 to 3. Companies with many workers such as Thong Dung Shoe Company Limited (Thuan An), Kim Xuong Vietnam Shoe Company Limited (Thu Dau Mot), Chi Hung Company Limited (Tan Uyen) all work until the end of today and have a 3-day holiday.
Today, after completing the afternoon shift, workers will officially begin their holiday.
