According to the report, grassroots trade unions have organized many Tet care activities for union members. Among them, 3,212 gifts were visited and given to union members, officials, civil servants, public employees, and laborers (CBCCVC-LD) with a total amount of 1,696,733,000 VND; visited and gave 375 gifts to retired officers and Vietnamese Heroic mothers with a total amount of 330,722,000 VND.
The City Employees' Union reviewed documents and guaranteed unsecured loans for 103 union members with an amount of 1,980,000,000 VND from the Capital Support Fund for Poor Workers of Can Tho City Labor Federation.
Mobilize officials and employees to contribute 17,860,000 VND to the Month of Action for Children in 2024; Contribution to Can Tho Trade Union Golden Heart Fund was 131,280,000 VND; contributed to the Fund for the Poor with the amount of 171,826,730 VND.
The trade union levels promptly visited and supported union members, sick officials and laborers, and celebrated the birthdays of 593 union members with a total amount of 127,100,000 VND.
Responding to Workers' Month, the City Union of Public Employees coordinated with Van Hanh Can Tho Medical Center to organize the implementation of the program "For the health of union members, civil servants and laborers", bringing benefits to union members above. 465,000,000 VND. Accordingly, over 300 union members, officials and laborers registered to be examined and screened for cancer, stroke, and diabetes.
