On August 11, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the Quan Thanh Commune Trade Union had just organized a meeting with business owners, visited and encouraged workers at some businesses in the area.
At May 68 Company, located in Van Du commune, there are currently nearly 80 workers, of which more than 30 are social insurance participants. T&P Company, Giai Lac commune has more than 30 workers. The Standing Committee of Quan Thanh Commune Trade Union has directly met and exchanged with workers and representatives of businesses.
Through working sessions, Quan Thanh Commune Trade Union propagated and clarified the role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; and at the same time mobilized businesses to establish grassroots Trade Unions.
Representatives of businesses acknowledged the exchanges of the Commune Trade Union and agreed to continue to study and exchange views on the establishment of grassroots trade unions in the coming time.
Through this activity, Quan Thanh Commune Trade Union continues to grasp the situation, thoughts, and aspirations of workers; and at the same time strengthens connections with businesses, gradually expands the Trade Union organization and gathers workers in the area.
The activity contributes to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations; and at the same time promotes the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
