With the theme "Every Step Matters - Every step is meaningful", UpRace this year continues to affirm its position as the race for the most influential community in Vietnam, with the total number of registered participants increasing by nearly one and a half times compared to the 2023 season. Nearly 1 million people, regardless of age or region, have "pulled up their boots" together, gradually converting them into practical financial resources for 3 social organizations.
Through the support of the Dream Development Fund (DMF) sponsored by VNG and accompanying sponsors, the mobilized budget of more than 3.7 billion VND has been contributed to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the Vietnam Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans (ASVDO) and the Vietnam Center for Support for the Development of Maternal and Neonatal Care (Vietnamese Neonates); promptly supporting difficult circumstances, especially in localities heavily affected by natural disasters and floods last year.
Of which, Vu A Dinh Fund is the organization that received the highest support and funding from UpRace this year with an amount of about 2 billion VND. UpRace's fund will support the program with 8,000 scholarships for students of ethnic minorities, including 5,000 scholarships for the whole country and 3,000 scholarships for the island region.
With ASVDO, UpRace's fund with an amount of about 1 billion VND will continue to support capital and livelihoods for people with disabilities, helping them reduce dependence and inferiority to proactively build their own lives.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam Center for Support for the Development of Maternal and Neonatal Care (Vietnamese Newborns) will support 388 Postpartum Resuscitation Scholarships for health workers, training classes to help give life opportunities to thousands of Vietnamese newborns.
