On November 2, at Tra Vinh Stadium (Vinh Long), the "First National Championship Cup 2025" Motorcycle Racing Tournament, phase 04, officially opened, within the framework of Vinh Long Province Culture - Sports and Tourism Week.
In his opening speech, Mr. Cao Quoc Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province sent warm greetings to the delegations, athletes and the audience.
According to Mr. Dung, the race not only has a professional meaning but also contributes to promoting the image, culture and tourism of Vinh Long - a dynamic, friendly and unique destination.
The tournament brings together 8 participating units, with 65 athletes representing 40 clubs competing in 3 events: YAZ 125cc, Sport 120cc and Four is 150cc.
Mr. Dung believes that the athletes will compete with all their might in the spirit of "Solidarity - truce - Cao Cao Bang", bringing attractive and safe competitions.
Right after the opening ceremony, the runners entered the exciting competition round. Despite the heavy rain, hundreds of spectators still carried the rain to cheer non-stop, creating a fiery and vibrant scene in the stands.
Mr. Le Thanh Minh (Long Chau ward) said that despite the rain, the tournament was worth watching. "The family held the rain from the beginning to see the runners show their mettle, the curves were dramatic and extremely satisfying."
Ms. Tran Thi Hoa (Tieu Can commune) said that the rain did not cool down but also added difficulty and drama to the race. "Seeing the runners overcome the challenge, it feels like living with their passion for speed," Ms. Hoa added.
