Meeting to deploy preparations for the second leg between Vietnam and Nepal

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) met to discuss preparations for the second leg between the Vietnamese team and Nepal at Thong Nhat Stadium.

On the morning of October 10, at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC), the Vietnam Football Federation coordinated with Thong Nhat Sports Center to organize a meeting to deploy preparations for the return match between the Vietnam team and the Nepal team in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

Attending and chairing the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - General Secretary of VFF, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thanh - Director of Thong Nhat Sports Center, and representatives of security units and functional departments of VFF.

At the meeting, the professional departments reported on the organization of the first leg taking place on October 9 at Binh Duong Stadium, and reviewed and completed plans for security, safety, communication, spectators and management for the second leg. The representative of Thong Nhat Sports Center affirmed that they will closely coordinate with VFF and related units to ensure the match is safe, professional and complies with AFC regulations.

The second leg match between Vietnam and Nepal will take place at 7:30 p.m. on October 14 at Thong Nhat Stadium, broadcast live on VFF's digital platforms to serve fans nationwide.

The organizers plan to open direct ticket sales at the Thong Nhat Stadium ticket counter from October 12, in the morning from 9:30 to 11:30 and in the afternoon from 7:00 p.m. or until tickets are sold out, whichever comes first.
