This year's tournament brings together 33 participating teams. This is an annual internal sports activity, aiming to promote exchanges and connections through grassroots football. The tournament takes place in one day, starting at 6:00 a.m. on July 26 and is open to fans for free.
This year, the event will feature Patrik Berger, a former Liverpool football club player, who will participate in interacting with fans and award prizes to the winning teams.
The champions will travel to the UK, participate in football activities at Liverpool, including watching a live match at Anfield and participating in coaching at the club's football academy.
The Standard Chartered Cup has been held in Vietnam since 2014 and is part of a series of community sports activities that the bank has implemented in many countries. In addition to the futsal tournament, a number of other annual sporting events such as the Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi are also maintained within the framework of community connection programs.
