Do Quang Tuyen once represented Vietnam at Mister Supranational 2024 in Poland and was awarded the title Mister Supranational Asia 2024. After the competition, he continued to work as a model and attend events, but determined that acting was the path he wanted to pursue for a long time.
Before entering men's competitions, Quang Tuyen studied Drama - Film Actress at Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema. He came to the modeling profession thanks to his advantages in height, physique and performance ability.
According to Quang Tuyen, the title helps him attract public attention and have more opportunities in the profession. However, this is not the only measure for the journey of an artist.
I always see the title as a starting point, not a destination," he said.
After returning from Poland, Do Quang Tuyen spends time acting. He has appeared in the play "Beauty of the King" at The Gioi Tre Theater, the movie "Under the Bottom of the Lake" and some television projects such as "Sugar Baby - Nghiep", "Good Mother is Evil", "Behind the Death", "Forgotten Land 2"...
The male king said his current desire is to try his hand at characters with complex psychology and clear stories. He does not want the audience to only remember him through appearance or titles from a beauty contest.
In addition to improving acting skills, Quang Tuyen maintains training to meet the requirements of modeling and art work. He does gym at least five times a week, each session lasting about one to two hours, and at the same time chooses a healthy diet.
The performance schedule and event participation often change, with some days ending late. Therefore, maintaining training is not always favorable. Quang Tuyen believes that the important factor is not a period of high-intensity training but the ability to maintain long-term habits.
I see training not only as a way to maintain a toned, balanced figure but also as a part of personal lifestyle and discipline," he shared.
According to the male model, physique is an advantage that gives him more opportunities, but it cannot replace professional ability. To develop as an actor, he still has to learn, accumulate experience and find suitable projects.
Looking back at the journey from a stage student, model to representing Vietnam at an international competition, Do Quang Tuyen sees each achievement as a step. His next goal is not another crown but roles capable of making a mark.
I don't want to conquer a single peak. I want to keep my spirit ready to move forward when reaching each peak," Quang Tuyen said.
