On March 22, at 10/3 Square, Buon Ma Thuot ward, Dak Lak Provincial Police in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the "Olympic Running Day: For the health of the whole people - For national security" in the province.
This is an activity of profound political and social significance, organized simultaneously nationwide, contributing practically to the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings on physical training and improving health to build and protect the Fatherland.

In Dak Lak, the event attracted more than 6,000 officials, soldiers, union members, youth and a large number of people to participate.
The activity also aims at many major holidays of the country and the Police force, especially the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Physical Education and Sports; 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; 51st anniversary of the liberation of Buon Ma Thuot and the liberation of Phu Yen province; towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces.
Speaking at the event, Colonel Tran Quang Hieu, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, emphasized: "Olympic Running Day: For the health of the whole people - For national security is not just a simple sports activity but also a vivid symbol of the spirit of solidarity, will to rise up and aspiration for development of the Vietnamese nation in the new period.
In particular, with the active participation of the People's Police force, agencies, units and a large number of people, the activities also clearly show the core role of the Police force in accompanying the People, serving the People; contributing to building the image of a brave, humane Police soldier, for the peaceful life of the People”.
