The program aims to celebrate the success of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese Sports and Physical Training sector, along with many important events of the country and the People's Police force.

According to reporters' records, along with the whole country, the event is organized on a large scale and simultaneously throughout the province. In which, the main bridge point takes place at Dien Bien Phu ward square connecting with 43 communes and wards.


At Dien Bien Phu Ward Square, about 3,000 athletes participated in a companion run with a distance of about 2 km. The route starts from Dien Bien Phu Ward Square to Vo Thi Sau Park and returns.
According to data from the Organizing Committee, in general at the main bridge point and 43 communes and wards in the area, this morning's event attracted nearly 23,000 participants.




Ms. Quang Thi Noi (Mo village, Dien Bien Phu ward) said: "Participating in the Olympic run this morning, I myself feel very happy and proud. The activity helps people raise awareness of health training and strengthen solidarity.
Colonel Lu Minh Phuong - Deputy Director of Dien Bien Provincial Police said that this is an activity of practical political and social significance, aimed at continuing to respond to the campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho", contributing to improving people's health, building a healthy cultural life and consolidating the great national unity bloc.


Colonel Lu Minh Phuong also affirmed that the Olympic Running Day is also a symbol of solidarity, will and aspiration to rise up. Thereby contributing to building a healthy society, improving physical and mental health. Building a society of discipline, respect for the law, security, safety, and consolidating the movement of all people protecting national security.
The Deputy Director of Dien Bien Provincial Police also launched all officers, soldiers and people of ethnic groups in the province to continue to actively practice physical exercise, build daily training habits to contribute to building a healthy community, a peaceful and happy society.
