On August 26, Royal Cup Series 2026 – LEG 3 concluded at Royal Long An Golf & Country Club after two rounds of competition. The tournament belongs to the VGA Development Tour system, gathering 84 professional and amateur athletes, with a total prize fund of 500 million VND.
Entering the final round from the third place, Tran Le Duy Nhat created a remarkable breakthrough. He scored 5 birdies and 1 eagle, surpassing Truong Chi Quan and Nguyen Huu Quyet to rise to the top of the rankings.
After 36 rounds of competition, Tran Le Duy Nhat achieved a total score of 139 strokes (-5), 3 strokes less than the group in second place and won the Royal Cup Series 2026 – LEG 3 championship title.
In the amateur category, Nguyen Tuan Anh received the Best Amateur title with a total score of 145 strokes (+1) after two rounds. The achievement at the tournament continues to extend the streak of positive form of the young golfer before he and the Vietnamese team participate in the Nomura Cup 2026, scheduled to take place in Beijing, China, in September.
LEG 3 is the final leg of the Royal Cup Series 2026. Through three legs, the series contributes to creating a more competitive environment, increasing opportunities for competition and improving professional qualifications for professional and amateur golfers in Vietnam.
