Right from the first half of the final, Dominique Tham showed the reason why he was the star of X-BDC. With impressive physique and strength, he continuously scored points on the basket, helping the home team maintain the lead throughout the half. Meanwhile, Ba Dinh had difficulty in finishing, scoring only 7 points and soon lost the advantage.
Entering the second half, the game was in favor of X-BDC. The white team continues to increase the gap, while Ba Dinh has not yet found the feeling of throwing a basket. At the end of the first two rounds, the score was 56-17, and notably, Dominique Tham scored 17 points, equal to the total score of the whole Ba Dinh team.
The third half witnessed a moment of stagnation for X-BDC when they only had two successful shots in the first half, but they quickly regained their form. Ba Dinh played better, scoring the most points in the first half (26 points), shortening the score to 43-69.
However, all of Ba Dinh's efforts were not enough to create a surprise. In the fourth quarter, Dominique Tham continued to shine with a series of three consecutive shots, then added an impressive two-point shot, bringing the gap to 38 points. In addition, Huynh Vinh Quang and Vo Huy Hoan showed extensive experience in both attack and defense, helping X-BDC maintain the dominance.
On the other side, Ba Dinh still fought steadfastly. Dinh Toan Quoc scored with soft kicks, while Hieu "Hulk" tried to balance both ends of the field with the ability to defend and attack close to the basket. However, with a very comprehensive X-BDC, all efforts became ineffective.
At the end of the match with a score of 93-57, X-BDC officially became the champion of the VBC Basketball Tournament 2025, concluding the dramatic season with a victory that clearly demonstrated the strength, bravery and depth of the squad.
