On November 5, a press conference was held in Hanoi to announce the final round of the National Student Basketball Tournament and the National Student Men's Football Tournament of the TV360 Cup in 2025.
The two leading sports tournaments are part of the National Student Sports Tournament (NUC) system chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese education sector (1945-2025), while spreading the spirit of school sports, encouraging the movement of "training following the example of great Uncle Ho" among students nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Lam - Deputy Director of the Department of Students, Ministry of Education and Training said: "These two large-scale tournaments are traditional activities to attract a large number of athletes to participate, helping students have a healthy playground to improve their health, stay away from social evils, and contribute to improving Vietnam's stature.
Up to now, the number of participating teams is very large, such as a football tournament with 70 teams, basketball with 100 teams. Currently, the above movements are developing very strongly among students.
The national basketball and student football finals are the results of organizing from different regions, which is a lever to encourage students to participate more in the sports movement".

According to the competition schedule, the final round of the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament will take place from November 6-14, 2025, gathering the 14 best teams from the qualifying rounds.
Next, the final round of the 2025 National Men's Student Football Tournament - will start from November 18-29, 2025, with the participation of 16 teams representing the regions and the host team Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The two consecutive tournaments are not only inherited in organization, but also a connection in spirit with the common slogan "Lead the Game - Lead the Game", expressing the spirit of dynamism, creativity, and aspiration to assert themselves of Vietnamese students.
The professional organization work is guaranteed by the Vietnam Basketball Federation and the Hanoi Football Federation, in coordination with local host schools.
The matches in the final round are broadcast live on the TV30 platform, along with the tournament's official fanpage system and student sports channels such as Basketball TV, Webthethao.vn...
