Participating in the exhibition, CMC emphasized its vision in supporting Vietnam to become a new center in the global semiconductor supply chain.
Within the framework of SEMIExpo Vietnam 2024, a dialogue program with domestic and foreign semiconductor enterprises chaired by the Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of CMC Technology Group emphasized three directions that CMC is committed to implementing:
First, creating effective infrastructure and support policies: CMC will promote the construction of resource sharing centers, helping businesses have space and tools to conduct research, development, and innovation in semiconductors.
Second, training high-quality semiconductor human resources: CMC University, a member of the group, has established the Faculty of Microelectronics and Telecommunications to train specialized human resources in semiconductor chips, opened the Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering Technology training program, and at the same time built specialized training programs in semiconductor chips. The school has also invested in building the IC Design Lab to help students and engineers access advanced microchip design technology.
Third, developing core technologies: CMC currently owns 25 core technologies, including AI, Big Data, IoT and microchip design. These technologies are the foundation for CMC to deploy advanced solutions, supporting the development of the semiconductor industry at home and abroad.
At the exhibition, CMC also introduced the most advanced technology solutions, including products, services and support systems for the semiconductor industry. CMC's booth brought CMC's open AI ecosystem, technology human resource training programs, semiconductor chips, production solutions, data management and security, attracting great attention from the guests attending.
