On April 10, the University of Education, Hue University, opened the competency assessment exam for aptitude subjects of blocks M and N in 2026, attracting nearly 2,000 candidates to participate.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Le Ho Son - Rector of the University of Pedagogy, Chairman of the Exam Council - welcomed candidates to take the exam, and at the same time requested the Exam Council to work seriously, objectively, ensuring the exam takes place fairly and transparently.
At the opening session, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Vinh - Head of the Department of Preschool Education - disseminated the exam regulations, helping candidates understand their rights and responsibilities, and avoid errors in the exam process.

The exam takes place in 3 days with 12 exam rooms arranged spaciously, airy, fully equipped with fans. The school also prepares a rest area for parents, and at the same time mobilizes volunteer students to support candidates throughout the procedures and exams.
Recorded at the exam site, many parents assessed that the organization was thoughtful, and the information was updated promptly, helping candidates to proactively prepare and participate in the exam in accordance with regulations.
Participating in the exam, candidate Nguyen Ngoc Ha (Ha Tinh) said that she returned to take the exam for the second time with the desire to be admitted to the Preschool Education major. Although still nervous, she hopes to achieve good results to become a student of the University of Pedagogy, Hue University.

According to regulations, candidates of the Preschool Education sector take two contents including singing and storytelling according to paintings. The assessment content focuses on pitch, duration, musical sense, style and expressive ability. For the storytelling part, candidates draw paintings and develop stories suitable for the topic and age.
For the Music Pedagogy major, candidates take aptitude tests in pitch, rhythm, singing or performing musical instruments. The exams require candidates to reproduce melodies and rhythms accurately and show their ability to appreciate music.
The exam is organized to assess the specialized capacity of candidates, serve the enrollment of teacher training majors, and contribute to improving the input quality of schools.
