On October 20, Jiuzhaigou held the opening ceremony of the 2025 - 2026 school year, with the participation of Koveca (Korea) leaders, Board of Directors, staff, lecturers and nearly 4,000 students.
In his opening speech, Distinguished Teacher Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Principal of Cuu Long University said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the school has achieved many outstanding results in training, scientific research and international cooperation.
He said that in the 2025 - 2026 school year, the school will continue to improve the quality of training, expand the scale associated with quality assurance, promote research, business cooperation and invest in modern facilities, creating an effective learning environment for students.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, Mekong University has 3970 full-time university students in the 23rd, 24th and 25th courses.
The results of the school year have 194 excellent students ( ti lech 4.89%), 818 excellent students ( ti lech 20.60%), 1670 excellent students ( ti lech 42.07%), the remaining 1288 students, accounting for 32.44%.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Mekong University will conduct 185 research topics at all levels, with more than 100 scientific articles published internationally and domestically, along with many topics participating in the technical innovation competition.
The school organized 47 international seminars, published 182 Scopus articles, established 2 Vietnamese language centers in Laos and awarded 172 scholarships to students.
To recognize the academic achievements of students in the 2024 - 2025 school year, the school has decided to reward 194 excellent students, 818 excellent students, and 1,670 excellent students.
