On the morning of May 30, at Ho Chi Minh Square, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, Military School of Military Region 4 organized the Launching Ceremony of the "Military Summer Camp" program in 2026.
Before the ceremony took place, delegates offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the statue of Uncle Ho in Ho Chi Minh Square.
The "Military Summer Camp" program is an experiential education model held annually, aimed at fostering patriotism, national pride, and heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army. This is also an environment to help students practice life skills, social skills, self-reliance and sense of responsibility.
In 2026, the program has the theme "We practice being soldiers - Growing up in discipline - Standing firm before the future", with the participation of more than 300 students in Nghe An province.
During 9 days, the "little soldiers" will participate in many useful learning, training and training activities. Through the content "Practicing as soldiers", they experience independent life in the military environment, and learn more about the tradition and noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers".
In addition, the content "Growing up in discipline" aims to train a disciplined lifestyle, organizational awareness, responsibility to oneself, family and society. The content "Silient before the future" helps students improve their self-confidence and bravery to overcome difficulties and challenges in learning and life.
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's "Military Summer Camp" is carefully prepared in terms of military training content as well as social practice skills topics. Through the program, students are fostered in solidarity, discipline, ethics, and responsibility to the community, and also have more practical experiences during the summer.
