On June 15, at the Youth Activity Center, the Provincial Youth Union and the Military Command of Kien Giang province held a launching ceremony for the 1stsemester of the Army Program in 2025.
With the theme of Proud to be a soldier, after 9 days of immersing themselves in the military environment, nearly 110 young soldiers will study and educate themselves about politics, ideology, military traditions, homeland and country.
Equip and train social skills for students through military activities such as: Experience life in the army at Battalion 207, Regiment 893, Military Command of Kien Giang province, and regimes prescribed in the army. Participate in learning and practicing the skills, style, and standards of a soldier of Uncle Ho's Army, educational topics on patriotism and family love.
Training in collective recreation skills through cultural and artistic activities, physical education and sports, games, supplementary activities, entertainment, exchanges, etc. In particular, picnicking and camping programs and participating in campfire will be memorable memories for children in the summer of 2025.
Through the program, the aim is to equip young people with some military knowledge; educate citizens' awareness, responsibility and obligation towards the task of building and defending the Fatherland; improve physical and mental solidarity, live meaningfully, love and help each other, promote initiative, creativity, form independent life skills; thereby building for them a beautiful life, live usefully, live for the community.
After the Departure Ceremony, the Young Soldiers offered incense at the National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc monument, then moved to Battalion 207, Regiment 893, Kien Giang Provincial Military Command to officially begin the journey.
