According to the 2024-2025 school year plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, schools in Hai Duong province will complete the second semester program before May 21 and end the school year before May 31, 2025. Students in Hai Duong province are expected to start their summer vacation in June.
According to the general roadmap of the Ministry of Education and Training, semester I will end before January 18, 2025; the consideration of recognition of the completion of the primary and secondary school graduation programs must be completed before May 30, 2025. Admissions for first-level classes will be completed before July 31, 2025.
The 2025 high school graduation exam is scheduled to take place on June 26 and 27, 2025. National excellent student exams, science and technology exams and other national exams will be organized according to the separate instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that the school year of localities must ensure a full 35 weeks of actual study, of which semester I has 18 weeks and semester II has 17 weeks. At the same time, the school year plan needs to be consistent with the characteristics and practical conditions of each locality to be flexible in implementation and ensure education quality.
Holidays and Tet holidays are implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Code. For teachers, annual leave is mainly arranged during the summer vacation or can be flexibly arranged at other times of the year, depending on the specific activities of each school and locality.
