On October 15, the Central Council of Young Pioneers announced that it had just coordinated with the Forestry Department and a number of units to organize a field trip and learning program for students on forest resource protection, water resource and environmental conservation and inaugurated an information corner with the theme "Journey with Mizu to protect the environment" in 2024. This activity took place at Cat Tien National Park (Dong Nai).
This is an activity within the program “Mizuiku - I love clean water” with the goal of nurturing awareness for future generations about protecting water resources; through educational activities in schools combined with extracurricular activities experiencing forests, improving the quality of school hygiene through clean water projects.
The experiential educational activities are designed as “classrooms in the forest” to raise awareness among team members, teenagers and children about the role and importance of forests, the close relationship between forests and water resources, the issue of forest protection, soil conservation and groundwater protection.

“Journey with Mizu to protect the environment” will continue to gradually expand to National Parks across the country, contributing to educating awareness and affirming the role of protecting forest resources - preserving clean water sources for Vietnamese children.
Within the framework of the program, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers and other units coordinated to organize experience and study trips with the theme "Journey with Mizu to protect the environment" at Cat Tien National Park for more than 360 students and teachers in Dong Nai.

In the coming time, the program hopes to expand its scale and implementation in many national parks nationwide to reach more primary school students in localities, contributing positively to raising awareness of forest and water resource protection for the community.
The “Mizuiku” program is an educational initiative to raise awareness of saving and protecting water resources for elementary school students, initiated by the Suntory Group in Japan since 2004.
Vietnam was the first country to expand the project outside Japan in 2015.
