According to Professor, Dr. Le Van Canh - Vice Principal of HUTECH - Vietnam's economy in the first 5 months of 2025 recorded many positive signals with a total import-export turnover of 237.97 billion USD. Total foreign direct investment (FDI) reached 13.82 billion USD, up nearly 39.4% over the same period last year.
These are impressive figures that affirm Vietnam's position as a strategic destination for many multinational corporations. This also poses an urgent need for high-quality human resources capable of adaptation, integration and global competitiveness.
Professor, Dr. Le Van Canh added that HUTECH identifies the connection between schools and businesses as a strategic direction to ensure training quality. The "School in Business - Enterprise in School" model has been and is being effectively implemented through internship and skills training activities. Through the activities at the festival, this direction is even more clearly demonstrated.
Participating in recruiting candidates from students, Ms. Le Thi Diem My - Deputy Director of Human Resources, Saigon Ford - said that the festival not only creates opportunities for businesses to access potential young human resources, but also helps students experience a real recruitment environment, better understanding the needs of the labor market.
This is an important bridge to help shorten the gap between training and practice. At the same time, the event also contributes to promoting the spirit of learning and career orientation for young people.
The festival has brought nearly 1,870 jobs to students of the school. At the festival, HUTECH also held a signing ceremony for agreements on "Training human resources associated with the needs of businesses" with businesses in many fields.
