Improve first aid skills to be ready to rescue people

Hospital 199 trained 16 medical staff of the People's Police Academy to improve initial first aid skills.

On the morning of July 10, Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security) in Da Nang organized the closing ceremony of the course of continuous updating medical knowledge in initial primary care medical examination and treatment for medical staff of the People's Police Academy.

The training course has a duration of 24 periods, including: 7 theoretical and practical periods, with the teaching of specialist I Do Van Ta - Head of the Emergency Unit, specialist I Pham Thi Anh Hong - Professional Advisor of the Emergency Unit; specialist I Bui Quoc Bao Thanh - Department of Cardiology, along with teaching assistants - Trinh Thi Thu Ha, Ly Van Tuan.

Through lectures as well as practice, students are equipped with knowledge and initial first aid skills, improve their capacity to handle emergency medical situations in the special working environment of the Public Security sector to minimize accidents; Apply training knowledge to situations encountered in real tasks and work.

Accordingly, the program focuses on the following main contents: Early identification of circulatory arrest situations; Out-of-ance cardiac technique, effective breathing support; On-site treatment process, coordination with rapid response groups; Practicing operations on a specialized model; First aid instructions for patients with broken bones, blood vessel wounds, burns, first aid practice...

In the context of modern society, the role of the People's Public Security soldier does not stop at protecting security and order, fighting against crime, but is also a frontline force, regularly present at the scene of incidents and accidents. Therefore, equipping them with initial first aid skills is an urgent requirement, helping them not only protect themselves and their teammates but also be able to save the victims' lives in "golden time".

Therefore, the initial first aid training program is not only a simple professional training activity but also has profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the concern of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, as well as the leaders of the two units for building a comprehensive Public Security force, good at expertise, solid in expertise and rich in compassion, in accordance with the spirit of "Serving the People".
