Speaking at the Forum, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen said that Ca Mau has great potential and advantages in many fields; the province is calling for investment in many fields, especially renewable energy, education, infrastructure, logistics, housing... Ca Mau province also committed to creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to invest, operate and do business in Ca Mau.

At the forum, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of VCCI Can Tho, said that Hon Khoai port is of special interest to businesses. The port, along with the access road system and transportation system, creates the most favorable conditions for goods from the Mekong Delta region to be exported to the world. This is a great opportunity for businesses to participate in the production and supply chain.

Hon Khoai Port has a particularly important position, capable of receiving ships up to 150,000 DWT - the first deep-water port in the Mekong Delta region. This is considered a " gateway for direct export to the major seas", helping to reduce the burden on the port system of Ho Chi Minh City, while opening a new development direction for the economy of the Southernmost region.

Ms. Thu Huong said: With a strategic location at the southernmost tip of the country, Hon Khoai Port is expected to become an important logistics and defense center of the country, contributing to reducing logistics costs, increasing competitiveness for goods in the Mekong Delta, and at the same time creating a foundation for sustainable development for the Vietnamese marine economy in the future.

Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, said that after the merger, Ca Mau will have many advantages from sea, energy, tourism, etc. Through the forum, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association hopes to promote cooperation between businesses inside and outside the province, especially in the fields of energy, seafood processing, logistics and eco-tourism.

At the forum, businesses all said that Ca Mau has a lot of potential, the advantage is the land, an opportunity for businesses to invest.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province, thanked businesses for their interest in Ca Mau. In order for businesses and investors to feel secure investing in the province in the coming time; The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently review the planning, especially the provincial planning, the industry planning; Direct relevant agencies to continue reviewing and cutting administrative procedures in all key areas such as land, business, and investment attraction; Accelerate the implementation of public investment projects in the province; Accelerate digitalization in all fields, modernize information technology in attracting investment, providing online public services throughout the process, regardless of administrative boundaries, promote domestic and foreign investment propaganda and promotion to call on domestic and foreign businesses and investors to propose projects in the province; Ensure absolute safety and security in the implementation of public investment projects in the province; absolutely not to be surprised in the process of implementing projects in the province; do not be surprised when the State is the focus of the province.

At the forum, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province awarded many certificates of merit to enterprises with many achievements; the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association signed cooperation agreements in many fields.
