With careful investment and elaborate preparation by students of Gia Dinh University (GDU), the series of programs "Student songs - Going with the years", "Singer for mother - Fatherland!" and "Khai Quoc Ca" taking place from April 27 to April 29, 2025 at 371 Nguyen Kiem, Ward 3, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City brought eye-catching performances, touching the hearts of the audience.
Songs such as Tien Quan Ca, Liberation of the South combined with the scene of the Truong Son Road, the image of the mother waiting for her children and the moment the red flag the yellow star fluttering created a rich space. This event also left a deep echo in the hearts of the viewer, aroused the pride of an independent - freedom - happiness.

It is known that in the process of preparing for the "Proud of a strip of rivers in Vietnam" program series, GDU students have done many jobs closely following reality, from researching historical documents, interviewing witnesses, to stage design and coordinating smoothly. This process requires patience, effective teamwork skills, and time management skills with a high sense of responsibility.
Dr. Nguyen Mai Phuong, Head of the Faculty of Digital Communications, shared: Music and stage are an effective bridge for students to feel the historical value. Understanding the past will help young people build a solid future, while developing personality and social responsibility".
Not only stop at performances, GDU students also have access to history through actual interactive learning activities. Earlier, on April 18, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Languages, Gia Dinh University held a talk show "Following the footsteps of Saigon - Gia Dinh" with the guidance of Assoc.Prof.Dr. The event has recreated the courage and courage that the Saigon - Gia Dinh special forces performed in the Ho Chi Minh campaign.
Pham Xuan Nong - student majoring in Multimedia Communications, Gia Dinh University shared: "The Talkshow helps me better understand the silent dedication of the Saigon - Gia Dinh villa soldiers. I feel moved and grateful that our father's generation did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones to regain the independence and freedom of the country as it is today. Activities like this are very meaningful, helping our young generation explore the flow of history, thereby appreciating what we have".

It can be seen that GDU's activities not only help young people understand more deeply about Vietnam's history but also arouse a sense of responsibility. According to experts, combining art and practical discussions will enhance the connection between students with cultural values and national history - something that GDU has successfully implemented.

Based on the survey results of 2024, more than 90% of GDU students have found jobs after graduation. This is an impressive number, demonstrating the recognition from the business for the training quality and capacity of GDU students.
