This is an academic competition organized by the Faculty of Management Information Systems, University of Technology, National Economics University. Contestants are students who are studying or just graduated for no more than 6 months at universities, academies, and colleges nationwide.
According to Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, Head of the Faculty of Management Information Systems, National Economics University, the competition creates opportunities for students to apply the knowledge learned in lecture halls to practical projects, and at the same time helps them better understand how businesses are operating and the requirements from reality.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuong, Deputy Director of Data and Artificial Intelligence Division at Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, said that AI is shifting from a supporting role to participating in implementing increasingly complex workflows.
According to him, the important thing is not only to use a strong AI model but also the ability to integrate AI into the business operation process effectively, safely and responsibly.
From this reality, he expects the competition to show solutions that can be applied in practice.
Through the preliminary, final, and semi-final rounds of the region, the 6 best teams were present at the final night on August 5. Here, the teams went through 3 parts of the competition, showing their talents through the following contents: Introducing the team and their project through a variety of forms such as: singing, ho, ve, reciting poetry, acting,...; quickly answering multiple-choice questions revolving around knowledge about the theme of the competition; completed research reports from the semi-final round questions and answering questions from the Judging Panel; drawing lots for advanced real-life situation debate questions, asking questions and arguing with each other.
At the end of the competitions, the organizers awarded 1 champion, 1 runner-up, 2 quarter-finalists and 2 promising prizes to the contestants.
