On November 12, in Hanoi, the Central Youth Union, the Central Council of Young Pioneers coordinated with relevant units to organize the 2024 "SGC Sharing the dream" scholarship award program to students who have overcome difficulties and studied well.
This year, the meaningful scholarship program has the theme "Green Generation - Firm Steps for the Future".
In recent times, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers have always focused on and regularly directed all levels of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers across the country to effectively implement targets and projects related to supporting disadvantaged youth and children, including mobilizing social resources to build many projects and scholarship funds to support students.
According to the Standing Vice President of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, Le Hai Long, the scholarship program was launched last August and has recorded more than 100 student applications and more than 600 student applications nationwide.
Through the selection process, about 200 excellent students were eligible to receive scholarships. Their stories affirm that willpower and determination can overcome all difficulties. Circumstances do not determine the future, instead, effort and will can create success.
"You should firmly believe that the Youth Union, Young Pioneers, and many other organizations, individuals, and the entire community will always stand by you and help you persevere on the path to realizing your dreams," said Mr. Le Hai Long.
The "SGC Sharing the dream" scholarship was awarded to 200 students along with post-scholarship training support activities with a total value of 1.7 billion VND.
When receiving scholarships, students from difficult circumstances can also participate in many bonding activities, equipping them with knowledge and skills to exploit their own potential such as "Social Innovation Skills" training courses, community projects, and green activities across the country.
