Destination for Monash University's global experience program

    Vietnam was chosen as a destination of Monash University's flagship program thanks to its outstanding role in addressing sustainable development challenges.

    Monash University (Australia), top 50 best universities in the world, has just expanded the implementation of the Global Experience Guarantee (GIG) program - a flagship program to help enrich the international education experience of students in Vietnam.

    From November 2025 to January 2026, 400 Monash students will come to Vietnam to participate in a two-week study program.

    During the program, students have the opportunity to meet and learn from local leaders about how to approach and solve common urgent issues that the world is facing, including water security, sustainable agricultural development, strengthening resilience to environmental changes, and promoting equality in health and society.

    Professor Sarah McDonald, Vice President in charge of Student Experiences and Senior Vice President of Monash University, said: "Vietnam brings a learning environment rich in globality and social values that match what Monash students are looking for. Through the GIG program, students are not only acquired knowledge but also inspired to be able to shape their role in contributing to efforts to solve global challenges.

    This October, Monash University (Australia) will organize two Open Days in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, welcoming the participation of Vietnamese students, university students and parents, learning about study programs at one of the world's leading universities. At the event, Monash University will introduce world-class training programs, a dynamic and open learning environment with a global vision.

    Monash University introduces scholarship program to support ASEAN students

    Monash University (Australia) introduced for the first time a full scholarship program worth 2.5 million AUD, about 42.6 billion VND, a comprehensive financial support package for students from Southeast Asia studying at the school's facilities. The program is implemented by Monash University with the goal of completely reducing the burden of study costs for university students from 10 ASEAN member countries, including tuition, travel, accommodation transfer, visa fees and other services.
