On the afternoon of January 9, the Youth Union - Student Association of the Academy of Finance organized the "AOF AWARDS 2025" program to honor typical and outstanding collectives and individuals in a variety of fields from studying, scientific research to community service activities.
The event takes place on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Director of the Academy of Finance - emphasized that students of the academy always promote the tradition of studiousness, self-awareness and high discipline.
In the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, the entire Academy had 5,399 excellent students. In the second semester, the number of excellent students was 4,055, accounting for 33.07%, and 3,450 excellent students, accounting for 28.13%.
The "5-Good Student" movement and many academic competitions have also been successfully and effectively organized by students of the Academy.
The scientific research movement and national and international academic playgrounds for students continue to be a bright spot in 2025 of the unit. Students of the Academy of Finance left a beautiful mark when 100 excellent students participated in the Parade; 200 volunteer students served at the Great Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of CMT8 success, National Day September 2 (A80) and excellently completed their tasks.
In 2025, nearly 5,000 students participated in volunteer activities; more than 2,000 units of blood were donated. In particular, the Academy's students mobilized nearly 1 billion VND of socialization to implement social security programs, volunteering for the community in the Spring - Winter - Summer volunteer campaigns aimed at vulnerable groups...
Recognizing and praising the results students have achieved, Director of the Academy of Finance Nguyen Dao Tung expressed his wish and belief that in the coming time, students will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity - creativity - integration; proactively equip themselves with knowledge, skills, professional ethics and civic bravery, ready to meet the requirements of the digital transformation era and international integration in the new context.
Students of the Academy of Finance, please always maintain the flame of passion, aspiration and constantly conquer new heights" - Mr. Tung said.
At the program, many collectives, officials and students of the Academy of Finance with outstanding achievements were honored and received Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Finance, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Youth Union and the Director of the Academy of Finance.
