At many boarding primary and secondary schools in Lao Cai, the breakfast support model for students is being maintained with the cooperation of border guards, local authorities and volunteer groups. Hundreds of breakfasts including porridge, sticky rice, bread, and milk are prepared regularly, helping children have more energy before school.
On April 14, 2025, the Youth Union of Lao Cai Provincial Police and other units and philanthropists organized the program "Sharing love to students in mountainous areas" at Cao Son Primary School. In addition to providing a warm breakfast, the group also promoted skills to prevent child abuse and kidnapping and presented 70 practical gifts to students.
In Lung Phinh commune, the volunteer group "Di giua may" coordinated with the Commune Police and Lung Phinh Kindergarten to organize morning pho cooking, giving gifts, showing films and games to more than 70 children.
In addition, Lien Minh Okwin is implementing the "Warm Heart Cuisine" model in many remote villages, providing quality meals every week from mobilized food sources and local human resources.
In addition to nutrition, volunteer programs also provide medical support. Volunteer doctors use mobile medical vehicles to examine patients and provide health care consultation for students and parents.
The program "Cong em den truong" also presented books, pens, backpacks, and enriched the knowledge journey for children in the highlands.
Practical activities such as: "Bright breakfast for children" or " Going to school with children" not only come from the spirit of community compassion but also in line with the major orientation of the Party and State. This is the way to realize, while strongly responding to the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" in the period of 2021 - 2025.
