Nearly 300 students learned about waste recycling at the Student Role in the “Journey of Rebirth - For a Green Vietnam” Workshop organized by Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam. The workshop is part of a series of activities to raise public awareness about waste collection, classification and recycling, contributing to waste reduction and moving towards a circular economy.
Experts from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shared about the current situation of waste, the role of plastics, if recycled and reused, will contribute to reducing the impact on the environment. In addition, the initiative of the educational program on collection and recycling, as well as the journey of plastic regeneration attracted the attention of teachers and students.
Given the current situation in Vietnam, if waste is classified at the source, it will not only help optimize the recycling process, but also significantly reduce costs and limit environmental pollution. Raising awareness of classification and recycling for the younger generation will not only help form habits but also contribute to creating a sustainable future.

Previously, in August 2024, a training workshop and improvement of living conditions for scrap collectors was held to join hands in promoting effective waste collection and classification.
