On September 12, Quang Tri Power Company confirmed that 42 employees, engineers and workers of Quang Tri Power Company, have been assigned to support and overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3 in Quang Ninh province.
On the same morning, the group set off in 6 cars, carrying necessary equipment and supplies. The group's stop was Uong Bi city, where they would fix the power grid problem and return home after finishing the job.
Mr. Phan Van Vinh - Director of Quang Tri Electricity Company - said that the 42 engineers and workers are skilled and in good health. In particular, the engineers and workers are experienced, often taking the lead in handling electrical incidents in areas frequently affected by storms and floods, and have teamwork skills.
“Seeing off the shock troops, we reminded the members to ensure absolute safety at work, traffic safety, coordinate well with other units, and strive to complete the task of quickly overcoming the incident and restoring safe and stable power supply to all customers in the assigned area,” said Mr. Phan Van Vinh.
It is known that storm No. 3 caused a lot of damage, especially causing power outages in Quang Binh province, in which Uong Bi city suffered quite heavy damage, which has not yet been completely repaired.
