On September 10, information from the People's Committee of Muong Lat district, Thanh Hoa province said that currently, functional forces are still urgently supporting people who suffered heavy damage after storm No. 3. Specifically, as of the morning of September 10, about 70% of the recovery support has been completed.
According to the representative of Muong Lat District People's Committee, previously due to the impact of storm No. 3, thunderstorms and prolonged rain occurred in the district. As a result, 89 households suffered damage to their houses.
Of these, 1 household in Un village (Muong Ly commune) had its house washed away by landslide; 1 household in Pu Quan village (Pu Nhi commune) had its roof completely blown off; 71 households in Muong Lat town, Pu Nhi commune, Nhi Son commune had their roofs partially blown off. In addition, 2 households in Chien Puc quarter, Muong Lat town had their houses blown off by trees; 5 households in Pu Nhi commune had their house foundations blown off.
In addition, a section of National Highway 15C (through Pu Nhi Commune) also suffered serious landslides. Currently, Thanh Hoa Province authorities are urgently implementing measures to overcome the consequences.
