The contest took place on November 22, attracting nearly 70 contestants from all over the country. Coming to the FFF Show 2025 Miss Cat contest, Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Nguyen Minh from Ho Chi Minh City brought the 6-year-old Russian cat Cha Bong. Minh said he spent about a month preparing for the trip, from taking care of Cha Bong's thick and long fur to practicing getting used to traveling by plane.
"I want my child not to be shocked by climate change, so before the flight, I also let him gradually adapt to the new environment" - he shared.
Cha Bong had participated in a previous show, so when he returned to this stage, Minh was both nervous and excited. He expressed his desire to meet and learn more about cat raising experiences from long-time players, as well as hope that "the cat can win some awards in the pet cat category". For Minh, the contest is not only a place to show off the beauty of pets but also an opportunity for people with similar interests to connect.

According to him, every cat - whether a documented cat or a cat cared for simply with love in the family - has its own beauty and personality. As long as I love the children, they will shine in their true way, he said.
Not only contestants from Ho Chi Minh City, the event also attracted many cat lovers in Hanoi. Ms. Dao Minh Trang (born in 1998 - Hanoi) - a long-time cat owner brought to the Oliu contest, similar to British Shorthair Golden.

The family has up to seven cats, but according to her, Oliu is "one of the children with the most beautiful and stable fur", so she wants to take the cat to the competition to rub and get used to the crowded environment.
This is the first time Oliu has participated in a big playground, he is a bit shy but receives more compliments than the bolder cat in my family. That made me very happy and proud" - she shared.
For Ms. Trang, each competition like this is not only an opportunity for cats to express their natural beauty but also helps owners expand their relationships and learn about pet care experiences.

Speaking to Lao Dong reporter, Tien Nguyen Hoang - Chairman of the Vietnam Cat Association (FFF Vietnam) said that the event gathered more than 60 participating cats: " Of which, 13 were taken by the owners from Ho Chi Minh City, some from other provinces, the rest were mainly cats in Hanoi. The number of cats is large and diverse in breeds.
When organizing this event, our wish is to let more people know about the competitions for cats, while spreading love for this animal. Bringing a cat to the competition is very simple: Just love and take care of the cat at home, and want to introduce the beauty and cuteness of the pet to the community. We want to encourage everyone - whether raising pure cats or non-raised domestic cats - to confidently bring cats to healthy playgrounds like this.
The organizing committee said that in addition to the competition, the event is also a place to share knowledge about nutrition, care, bathing, hygiene, use of nuts or pate, choice of food, drinks and how to treat cats with health problems.
"The judges will select the most beautiful cats in each category, including short-haired, long-haired cats and different breeds. Then there will be a final round to find the most beautiful male cat and the most beautiful cat - corresponding to the titles of FFF King and FFF Queen. This is the core content of the program" - the representative of FFF Vietnam shared more.
