Lao Cai gives gifts to policy families and workers in difficult circumstances

Lao Cai - On the occasion of April 30 and May 1, the provincial working delegation visited Tu Le commune to visit and give gifts to policy families and workers in difficult circumstances.

On April 30, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and International Labor Day May 1, the provincial working delegation organized visits and gifts to policy families, poor households and workers in difficult circumstances in Tu Le commune on the morning of April 29.

The working delegation includes representatives of the Provincial Police, Department of Construction, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, and Provincial Military Command.

The activity aims to express gratitude to families of people with meritorious services, and at the same time promptly encourage and share with difficult circumstances in the area.

The delegation directly visited the families: Mrs. Lo Thi Loi (Ban Chao village), mother of martyr Hoang Van Sam; Mrs. Lo Thi Tien (Pha Tren village), mother of martyr Ha Van Minh; Mrs. Lo Thi Hien's family (Pha Tren village) who are poor households; Mr. Nguyen Minh Chi's family (Pom Ban village), bridge and road worker; and Mr. Sam Van Mot's family (Pha Duoi village), a worker in difficult circumstances.

At the families, the working delegation cordially inquired about their health and life, expressing deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of families of people with meritorious services in the cause of national liberation struggle, as well as in the current cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

At the same time, the delegation wished the families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, educate their children and grandchildren to well comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; actively study and work, contributing to building an increasingly developed homeland.

For poor households and workers in difficult circumstances, the working group encouraged families to strive to overcome difficulties, promote the spirit of self-reliance and self-strengthening, actively work and produce, and gradually improve their lives.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 5 gifts from Lao Cai province to share and encourage families.

The working delegation also requested local Party committees and authorities to continue to pay attention and take better care of policy families, poor households and workers in difficult circumstances; effectively implement social security policies, helping people stabilize their lives and rise out of poverty sustainably.
