On September 28, in Tho Quang ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang city, Brigade 172, Naval Region 3 participated in the implementation of the Project "Planting one billion trees" in the period of 2021-2025 and a general cleaning of the environment in the area where the unit is stationed.
Participating in the implementation were officers and soldiers of Brigade 172, agencies, organizations and people of Tho Quang ward, Son Tra district. The forces planted new trees, took care of trees, conducted general environmental sanitation, and dredged sewers, thereby continuing to promote the program For a Green Vietnam with specific and practical actions and deeds contributing to creating green landscapes on roads and houses; taking care of and preserving trees to grow well.
This is one of the coordinated activities with local Party committees and authorities of Brigade 172, Naval Region 3 to join hands to protect a bright-green-clean-beautiful living environment and strongly respond to Project 524/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister "Planting one billion trees" in the period 2021-2025.
Participating in the implementation of the Project and general environmental cleaning is a meaningful activity that contributes to building a safe unit associated with building a safe military area, strengthening the bond between the army and the people.
Thereby, demonstrating the exemplary and pioneering spirit of the army in building the landscape of the barracks and the unit's stationing area to be increasingly fresh, green, clean and beautiful.
