On October 25, the leader of Tra Cau Ward People's Committee said that at around 8:00 a.m. the same day, Mr. Nguyen Cuong (born in 1982, residing in Residential Area 1A, Hai Tan Residential Group, Tra Cau Ward) went fishing in the downstream area of Thoa River, in Residential Area 2, Hai Tan Residential Group, Tra Cau Ward, when he drowned.
After receiving the report, Tra Cau Ward Police coordinated with the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 3 - Provincial Police and local people to organize the search and rescue. At 12:15 on the same day, the search and rescue team found the victim's body and handed it over to the family for funeral arrangements.
