The beauty takes on the main role for the first time, and also shares many notable behind-the-scenes stories, including the experience of her first kiss on screen.
At the event on the evening of March 17 in Ho Chi Minh City, Minh Kien appeared radiant next to the crew and guest artists. The film is directed by Luk Van, gathering many faces such as Meritorious Artist Huu Chau and young actor Tran Le Vinh Dam. In particular, the presence of beauty queens and runners-up such as Tran Tieu Vy or Le Hoang Phuong made the red carpet even more vibrant.
Sharing about the role, Minh Kien admitted the pressure when entering the film industry for the first time. Before that, she had participated in casting about 20 projects but had not had a suitable opportunity. With "Bus: One-way Bus", the beauty had to go through three auditions before being selected. "Each casting is a learning session. I don't see it as failure but as a preparation step for a more right opportunity," she said.

In the movie, Minh Kien plays a character with a psychological color, even with the element of a "ghost woman", requiring inner acting. Notably, she has many romantic scenes with co-star Vinh Dam, including a kiss revealed as the beauty's "first kiss". "We did not practice in advance but only exchanged the character's psychology. When filming, both tried to maintain true emotions to complete in 1-2 scenes," Minh Kien shared.
Besides, she also said that using only one costume style throughout many segments is a significant challenge, requiring to show psychological transformation through acting instead of formality.
According to the plan, the movie "Bus: One-way Bus" will be released nationwide from March 20.
