In the competition night, Nicole Nguyen impressed with two performances: duet with Dee Tran of the song Tinh such la bay xa and solo Dia dan. She received two absolute 10 points from judge Kyo York and famous singer Ngoc Son, while judge Ho Le Thu praised her maturity, modern style and graceful performance style.
The female singer emotionally shared: I thank the program for giving me the opportunity to sing in Vietnamese. I am happy to be able to spread the love of Vietnamese music to friends of the same age and abroad.
Behind Nicole's success is always the companionship of her family, especially her mother - who is both a manager, stylist, assistant, and a spiritual supporter. The singer's father also wholeheartedly supported and invested in equipment for his daughter to pursue her dream. Nicole believes she is lucky to have her parents' understanding and absolute encouragement.
One of Donald Nguyen's great inspirations is singer Minh Tuyet. It was her idol who advised her to return to Vietnam to learn and develop her career, giving Nicole more motivation to participate in the Trans-Vietnam Love Song program.
After the competition, the first season runner-up plans to go between the US and Vietnam to build a singing career. Nicole released two albums in 2018 with the support of musician Phuc Truong. In the coming time, she will cooperate with Dee Tran and implement personal projects, with the desire to conquer Vietnamese audiences and help the young generation abroad become more attached to Vietnamese and Vietnamese music.
