This year's season has the theme "My sinh van tuong", aiming for the diverse beauty of female students instead of setting a common mold. Before entering the final round, contestants go through a journey to find personal identity through four values identified by the organizers including Chan, Minh, Dinh and Nhan.
28 female students received sashes from model Thanh Hang and Pharmacist Tien. The sash handover part did not take place in a normal way but combined many interactions. Contestants made requests such as organizing birthdays, throwing confetti, transforming into tour guides or guiding oral hygiene.
After that, the female students presented innovative costumes. The designs brought traditional elements into modern designs, thereby testing the performance ability and personality expression of each person.
One of the notable contents is the "New Generation Declaration" competition for the Top 7. The contestants also answered the question: If they were just ordinary people, what would they do to make the world better?
Through this competition, the judging panel evaluates the thinking, public speaking ability and the contestants' views on personal responsibility to the community. Instead of focusing on slogan-oriented answers, the question asks female students to relate them to specific actions in life.
Miss Vietnam Student 2026 has some adjustments to the organization method. The organizers removed the reality TV part, replacing it with training classes on public speaking skills and situation handling. The height standard of contestants has also been lowered to 1.62m.
The jury includes businessman Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, businessman Pham Kim Dung, CEO Tran Viet Bao Hoang, Pharmacist Tien and model Thanh Hang.
At the final, the organizers will determine the owners of the highest titles. The new Miss Universe will receive a prize of 200 million VND; 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up will receive 150 million VND and 100 million VND respectively.
