After the success of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 contest, along with the performances of Miss Ky Duyen and Miss Huong Giang respectively at Miss Universe 73rd, Miss Universe 74th, Mr. Valentin Tran - the copyright holder of Miss Universe in Vietnam in recent times - has officially spoken out to share information with fans and the media.
Specifically, after many months of thinking and after exchanges with the Miss Universe organization (MUO), Mr. Valentin Tran decided to give up and not continue to enter the final year of his copyright term. Explaining this decision, he frankly shared that it was due to disappointment with the way MUO handled the issue related to the "Beyond The Crown" voting results, lack of clear transparency in the process and feedback, and increasing concerns about the fairness of the contest after the 74th Miss Universe season just passed. At the same time, Mr. Valentin Tran also expressed his desire to focus on other core priorities related to the developing personal planning project.
Mr. Valentin Tran emphasized the respect for the Miss Universe brand, stemming from the love for the Miss Universe brand and the desire to continue writing the legacy of Miss Universe Vietnam in recent years.
Over the past 2 years, Miss Universe Vietnam has continuously made its mark with the title "Best National Beauty Contest of 2024", welcoming the return of Miss Ky Duyen after 10 years with the Top 30 achievement, and especially a historical milestone with Miss Huong Giang - the first transgender representative of Vietnam and Asia.
Besides announcing the renunciation of the Miss Universe copyright in Vietnam, Mr. Valentin Tran also announced another interesting piece of information that Vietnam will have a representative at MGI All Stars and he will directly follow and accompany the Vietnamese representative on the journey to conquer the MGI All Stars crown in May in Thailand.
MGI All Stars is a special edition organized for the first time by Miss Grand International, for contestants who have participated in beauty contests around the world.
