Artists participating in the film include: Miu Le, Lien Binh Phat, Hua Vi Van, Hong Anh, Quang Minh... Meanwhile, comedian Van Son participated in an online exchange from the US.
Director Phan Gia Nhat Linh confirmed that the film is a "remake" (remake) of the Japanese work One Cut of the Dead. The Vietnamese version revolves around director Tam OK - who specializes in "junk movies" but is determined to implement a decent project to reconcile with his daughter. However, the challenge is to film a 35-minute historical horror film and broadcast live, in a context where the crew encounters a series of funny and tearful incidents.
The biggest highlight of the movie "Blood Moon Party 8" is the 35-minute oneshot – which the crew affirmed to be the longest in the history of Vietnamese cinema. According to producer Charlie Nguyen, keeping this structure is not for the purpose of attracting attention but stemming from the love for the unique storytelling of the original. However, this is also a big challenge, requiring all actors and crew to practice carefully with high accuracy.

Sharing about the work, director Phan Gia Nhat Linh said that this is a "love letter" he sent to Vietnamese cinema, carrying a spirit of self-criticism and contemplation. "I am not afraid of opposing opinions, even when called a trash film. The important thing is that the film reflects reality and love for the profession," he said.
Expected to premiere on April 24, "Blood Moon Party 8" is expected to create a new breeze with a satirical comedy style, a different storytelling structure and a cast of talented actors, promising to bring an experience that is both entertaining and reflective to the audience.
