Appearing at the premiere of the movie "Mother Goes Out" in Vietnam, actor Jung Il-woo expressed his excitement: "Up to now, I have participated in many international film projects, my previous roles were often outsiders, but fortunately, when I acted in "Mother Goes Out", I was able to immerse myself in the lives of Vietnamese people, expressing my love for Vietnam".

As for the main character Hoan played by Tuan Tran, the actor shared that what made him touch the inner depth of the role was the pain that Hoan had to endure. Before deciding to "take your mother away", the character has to face many psychological struggles, containing both pain, torment and helplessness.

Director Mo Hong-jin was moved when the film was released in Vietnam. Sharing about the inspiration that created the emotional story of a mother-of-pearl in "taking care of her mother and leaving", he said that the reason for choosing Alzheimer's disease as the center of the story stems from the connection between the beginning and the end of the film.
The film features a cast of prominent actors including Hong Dao, Tuan Tran, Juliet Bao Ngoc, Jung Il-woo, Quoc Khanh, Hai Trieu, Lam Vy Da and Vinh Rau.
The film opens at 6pm on July 30 and 31 and officially opens in theaters nationwide from August 1, 2025.
