This is a special event organized by a group of students who love traditional culture and arts from the Diplomatic Academy. The program aims to honor Do paper - a handicraft material that has been associated with the history and spiritual life of the Vietnamese people for hundreds of years.
From "Do" Ma Ra introduces the life cycle of Do paper through four spaces designed like four chapters of storytelling, recreating the journey from tree shells in mountains and forests to paper that has passed through the hands of artisans, becoming a material for preserving memories, art and contemporary creativity.
The highlight of the event comes from the experience spaces designed for participants, especially young people, to directly interact with Do paper: from pounding Do boards, Do carts, painting on traditional materials to observing artisans performing and talking about the journey to preserve the craft.

At the same time, the event also displays works of art, designs, fashion and application products on Do paper made by many creative individuals, reflecting the way traditional materials are entering modern life and affirming their potential in cultural industries.

According to the representative of the organizing committee, Tu Do Ma Ra is not simply an event, but an invitation to enter a journey of dialogue and connection between tradition and modernity. Each Do paper is the crystallization of time, of the hands of artisans and of the memory of Vietnamese culture".
In the context of the movement to preserve intangible cultural heritage increasingly being focused on, Tu Do Ma Ra has become an emotional cultural destination, where the community, especially young people, understand more about the origin of national culture, but also create more motivation to develop traditional handicrafts in a sustainable direction.
