Singer Dinh Tien Dat (Mr.D) officially released the song "Mui (t)Huong", continuing to maintain the composing pace and releasing new products after the EP "Toi 30". No longer the "life"-style raps that once made a mark, this return shows a different choice in musical color.
The song "Mui (t)Huong" is built in a modern R&B style, with a slow tempo and a gentle atmosphere. Instead of a dramatic story, the song focuses on a familiar moment: the morning after close vibrations, when emotions still remain through small details such as scent, gaze or breathing.

Choosing "odor" as the center is a metaphorical approach. This is an intangible element but has the ability to preserve memories for a long time, thereby evoking emotions in love. The "tick tock" sound detail of the clock appearing throughout the song also contributes to creating a rhythm of time, like a force pulling two characters out of private space.
Another noteworthy point lies in the naming style. "Mui (t)Huong" is a combination of "huong" and "thuong", expanding the meaning from physical feelings to emotional states. This wordplay creates an additional layer of meaning for the song, and also shows the change in Dinh Tien Dat's way of building musical image.
Regarding the visuals, the MV is directed by Tung Phan in a minimalist direction, focusing on lighting and composition to create an emotional space. The highlight lies in the throughout choreography, built in a soft, restrained style, different from the male singer's previous strong hip hop image.
However, the shift to R&B also raises questions about the ability to shape a long-term style. When moving away from the rap material that once made a mark, Dinh Tien Dat needs time to prove his suitability with the new color, especially in the context that the R&B market is attracting many young artists.
