At the end of 2024, Disney made a strong comeback with the release of two blockbusters, Moana 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King.
Both films are expected to sweep theaters worldwide in November and December, setting many impressive box office records for the Mouse House.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moana 2 is showing the potential to break box office records this coming Thanksgiving. The sequel to Disney's seaside princess is expected to earn $125-135 million in its first five days of release.
As for Mufasa: The Lion King, the prequel to the classic Lion King is expected to open domestically with around $59-66 million when it hits theaters on December 20, according to Deadline.
Moana 2 is scheduled to be shown in Vietnamese theaters on November 29, 2024, while Mufasa: The Lion King is scheduled to be shown on December 20, 2024.
