In the program "Donate of tissue response day", Phan Phuong Oanh and Le Thu Tra directly signed applications to donate tissues and organs.
Miss Phan Phuong Oanh said she was touched to hear stories about families accepting to donate organs to save many other patients. According to the beauty queen, this is a deeply humane action.
I think donating tissues and organs is not only giving away a part of the body but also giving more life opportunities to others. When I heard the stories at the program, I felt even more clearly the value of sharing," she said.
The beauty queen said that the decision to register for organ donation came from the desire to contribute positively to the community, and at the same time hoped that her actions could contribute to spreading the correct awareness about organ and tissue donation to many young people.
Meanwhile, runner-up Le Thu Tra shared that she had learned about organ donation activities before, but only had the opportunity to register directly for this program. The runner-up said that many people are still psychologically hesitant or do not clearly understand the meaning of organ and tissue donation after death.
I hope that with my influence, I can contribute to helping people be more open to organ donation registration. Just one decision can bring hope of survival to many patients," she expressed.
In their twenties, Phan Phuong Oanh and Le Thu Tra said they want to choose a positive lifestyle, towards community activities instead of just focusing on personal images. Both expect the message "Giving is forever" to continue to spread more strongly among young people.
