This is considered a project marking a clear turning point in the image and artistic direction of the female singer when for the first time directly exploiting the identity of Nghe An homeland with the language of music, fashion and contemporary culture.
Gai Nghe" is a composition by musician Ho Hoai Anh, the lyrics are written by writer Ha Quang Minh. The song chooses contemporary folk materials with a combination of pop, electro and rock, creating a modern music space but still retaining the spirit of Vi Giam of Nghe land.

The highlight of the song lies in the lyrics imbued with folk colors. The image of a Nghe girl is depicted through close, rustic lyrics, expressing sincerity, straightforwardness but also full of personality. Huong Tram said that the project was implemented from the advice of her father - People's Artist Tien Dung - who has been associated with Vi Giam folk songs for many years.
There was a time when my father told me that if one day is enough time and fate, do something for my homeland. I always remember that reminder and wait until I am truly emotional enough to start," the female singer shared at the press conference.
According to Huong Tram, after she exchanged ideas with musician Ho Hoai Anh, the song was completed in just about two hours. For the female singer, that composing speed comes from harmony and emotions that have been accumulated before.
Not only attracting attention in terms of music, the MV also creates an impression thanks to the way of exploiting the image of the homeland from a new perspective. Vinh Market is transformed into a catwalk, an old apartment complex, cement trucks, flower mats, plastic chairs, tablecloths or shirts of Song Lam Nghe An club all become fashion materials with a strong local imprint.
In particular, the word "Nghe" in the song title is explained by Huong Tram as having many layers of meaning, both Nghe An and art, and also associated with her own career journey.
One of the most emotional moments of the MV is the appearance of People's Artist Tien Dung in the "ho vi giam" part. The singing voice of the father harmonizing with the voice of his daughter creates a dialogue between tradition and modernity, contributing to affirming the message of preserving and continuing the cultural values of the homeland.
